I used to live in Dubai a long long long time ago.

I’ve heard everything is expensive now - rent, water, electricity...

Moving from Texas. I was last there in 2011 and it as far as I knew it was fairly expensive compared to when my family moved there (90s), but I was a kid then. Still am, so it won’t be me paying for any of that fun stuff fortunately

The last I visited Dubai was in 2011 too. That’s when I realized how much things have changed...that and I’ve been talking to people who live there.

Also, I moved out of Texas last year and now I’m moving again lol
